VISA Credit Cards are offered through the credit union. After approval, old balances from other credit cards can be transferred to your new VISA credit card. Rates range from 9.90% – 12.90%.

Text Fraud Alerts

This free fraud detection service immediately alerts you of potential fraud on your CFCU Debit Card. You are automatically enrolled in this fraud protection service so make sure your cell phone number is correct on your credit union account. When you receive a text regarding potential fraud, simply reply “Yes” if you made the charge or “No” if you did not. If you reply “Yes” your card will remain open and active. If you did not make the charge and reply “No”, we will text you a number to contact our fraud detection service. Protecting our members is our #1 priority. Contact us at 423-743-9192 for details.

Lost/Stolen Visa Cards:

Your debit card can be turned off immediately in the "CARDS" section of the Clinchfield FCU app. You can also call the number on the back of the card to close your card immediately. 1-800-472-3272. A new card can be printed by coming in the office during normal business hours.

Debit Cards

The free Mastercard Debit Card can be used at any location that accepts Mastercard. Funds are automatically drafted from your Share Draft (Checking) Account. The debit card can also be used as an ATM card to withdraw cash from your share or share draft account. Each card is subject to approval.

Buy Local Spend Local Program

Our Buy Local, Spend Local program is our way of supporting small businesses in Unicoi County! Look for the Buy Local, Spend local sticker in your favorite shop’s window or storefront, use your Clinchfield FCU MasterCard Debit Card to make a purchase, and you could have a chance to have your purchase reimbursed up to $25 by Clinchfield FCU! Visa Gift Cards

VISA Gift Cards are accepted anywhere the VISA logo is displayed: in-store, online and by phone. They are much safer than cash! To purchase a gift card with any amount up to $1,000, just ask the credit union. A $3.50 fee per card.
