Fraud Text Alerts

If you ever receive a text message asking for your member number, account number, or personal information, do not respond. Protecting your personal information is our top priority and we will never ask these types of questions.

Free service that alerts you of potential fraud on your MasterCard Debit Card. The Clinchfield FCU fraud department will automatically alert you by text, then by phone to suspicious debit card activity on your account. When you receive your text message, text back “Yes” if you made the transaction. Your card will remain available for use. If you text “NO”, that you did NOT make the transaction, your card will be restricted, and you will need to contact the credit union to start the process of getting a new card.

• It is important that your cell phone number is up to date on your CFCU account. To update your new cell phone number, simply log into your Online Banking through the website (not the app) and update the phone number.
• If you want to opt out of this service, just reply “STOP” to the fraud alert text message that you receive.

Pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay

Safely and quickly complete your online and mobile purchases with your CFCU debit card using Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  

Mobile Deposit

Make check deposits right from the Clinchfield FCU Mobile App! Simply take a picture of the front and back of your check. Funds will be available same day if submitted during regular business hours. It is important to endorse the check properly and include the phrase “For Mobile Deposit at CFCU.”
